PassPlay

Privacy Policy

Effective July 28, 2026

The short version

Your study progress lives on your device, not our servers. We don't run ads, ad trackers, or analytics pixels. We collect the minimum needed to run the product: a login, support messages you send us, and (when checkout launches) the purchase records Stripe processes.

What stays on your device

Streaks, scores, readiness, question history, game progress, and your study plan are stored in your browser's local storage. We can't see them. Clearing browser data erases them (cloud backup will be optional when accounts launch).

What reaches our servers

  • Login checks — your username at sign-in, to issue a session token.
  • Ask Sage questions — the question text and your tricky-topic names are forwarded to the AI provider named in the app to generate the answer. Your identity and scores are never included, and we don't use your questions to train anything.
  • Support messages — what you send via the support form or email, kept as long as needed to help you and improve the product.
  • Purchases (when live) — payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. We keep the email tied to your purchase so we can restore access.
  • Error reports — if the app hits a bug, a technical description (no personal data) may be logged so it can be fixed.

What we never do

No selling or renting data. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. No data brokers. No training AI models on your personal information.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or close your account at any time via support. Since progress is device-local, deleting the app's browser data on your device removes it instantly.

Children

PassPlay is for adults preparing for professional licensing exams and is not directed at children under 13.
